  1. MONDAY 22nd

It's been an intense and busy week. An unforgettable experience! First we visited the Town Hall were the Major welcomed us and told us how excited they were about the Erasmus project. Then, at school we introduced our guests to teachers, students, representatives from parent's association and staff workers. It was an amazing morning with all the welcoming activities, songs and theatre! Students from year six showed us a little piece from 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' by William Shakespeare.

During the afternoon we had the chance of strengthening links participating in dances and musical games by the famous musical group 'Pesdelan'.An intense week need lots of planning. That's why Monday afternoon, after 'Pesdelan' event, was dedicated to a meeting were all teachers revised the agenda of the week and decision were made concerning forthcoming activities of our project.TUESDAY 23rd

On Tuesday we played with robots. Our year six students worked really hard making boards to practice creative writing games, fairy tales based games and culture ones. We also worked on learning and deciding the music for the song of our partnership. The afternoon was pretty busy. We learned lots about theatre and the world of scene with Estíbaliz Veiga. Estíbaliz is a famous actress and theatre educator. She showed us her job and led a very interesting and joyful masterclass.During the afternoon a special activity for our guests and host families was organised. It was a guided visit to Viveiro and they enjoyed it very much. Thanks Suso for bringing History alive and unforgettable!

  3. THURSDAY 25th
Thursday 25th was sports day! We went to Foz and, with the help of our friends from Maremasma, did our best surfing and kayaking. The weather was amazing and the experience... unforgettable! On Thursday afternoon we walked around Cervo and went to the famous pottery factory of Sargadelos. Everybody agreed that the setting of our school and nearby locations are very special and important both because of their history and beauty.
    FRIDAY 26th
    OUR LAST DAY.
During the morning we spent some some time on assessment work. After filling in the questionnaires we finished an important task we had for the Short Exchange of Students which was... RECORDING OUR SONG! ALL TOGETHER!
We had two surprises last day during the morning. Some videos were shown. The first of them was a little presentation made by two Portuguese students together with the children of their host family. the videos were a description of the Portuguese area they come from. The second was made by the Romanian team. It was a modern adaptation of 'Little Red Riding Hood', the Fairy Tale we chose to work on last year. In this version Little Red Riding Hood had to face some problems related to safety when surfing the net, among others. After our last morning break together we enjoyed the play 'Tarzan' by Face2Face Company. It was really funny. Students had already worked on worksheets about it and knew the songs. Some of them even worked as actors for a while...During the afternoon we taught our guests how to play traditional games.Thank you so much to 'Ledicia' and 'Airiños do Xunco' for sharing with us their time and all their good deeds maintaining and preserving our cultural heritage and traditional music
